INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS TRACK

Nobilite Integration College in collaboration with HLMDI and the University of Pecs is offering courses in Self Efficacy for the BA and MA study tracks in International Relations.

The collaboration is in line with HLMDI's mission of capacity building for "meaningful, productive , happy life years lived" globally.

HLMDI's philosophy supports the foundation of an Integrated Global Health Policy that facilitates Circular Migration of the factors of production in Healthcare as well as complimentary-extended fields especially those related to Operational Medicine, Emergency and Rescue Functions, Medical Governance and Integrated Systems of Healthcare .

Capacity Building covers such critical and unique areas as Sustainable and Integrated Systems through SMART communication, Community Mediation and Facilitation

The ongoing problems in the area of mobility and especially irregular mobility-migration has called on the training of International Relations experts capable of assisting and offering solutions that not only offer safer policies but also help build synergy across the systems

University Degree Track : BA and MA in International Relations

Duration of  training:

  • 1 year PIE Self Efficacy Certificate in International Relations for BA entry (2 terms)

Application requirements:

 

PIE Certificate and BA

  • High school diploma (including transcript of records)
  • CV in English
  • Motivation letter (introduction plus field of interest, etc.) in 3000 to 3500 characters.
*Note your motivation letter should preferably contain future life and career ambitions.
You may ask for a video-conference counselling session before admission in 5 languages

You do not have to submit an official English test result if one of the following criteria applies to you: You have a major/minor in English, i.e. the English language is the field of study (studies in English linguistics or literature), OR You have continued your undergraduate studies in the English language

 

English language knowledge is essential for your university and job application. For the Self Efficacy Certificate you may apply for language courses as well

 

Description of the Entry Level family and current employer Counselling

 

Studying and working abroad often involves complicated decisions because of our family and its circumstances . Entry Level Counselling has been designed to offer assistance regarding a better management of the impact of our travel on elder parents, children and spouses . This is normally a two hour long video-conference offered in more languages which allows you to invite those close to you and/or your current employer in order to clarify basic questions regarding the consequences of your decision and how best they may benefit from the end result

 

The counselling may cover questions regarding renting houses, food access, visa and travel, schooling and healthcare of children, job and study opportunities for spouses, best placement options for working and studying, investment opportunities, coping with lack of language skills, the regional tourism offerings, hosting the parents and elderly

 

You may order counselling if you have quit your studies or work and wish to continue in Europe or abroad

 

Counselling is a two hour long session . Providing your questions early on via e-mail would contribute to the effectiveness of the sessions since experience has shown a combination of expertise are necessary for answering a wide range of questions.

Description of PIE and MIP

 

The Certificates focus on effective employment in an international environment in areas that can help the individual, families and the global community as a whole in reaching  the goal of  meaningful, productive and happy life years lived.

 

The Nobilite Integration College has a special focus on the type of capacity building that assists the individuals in establishing a global perspective regarding their "Roles" in a global setting as an agent of development and a catalyst of community integration


Individuals may benefit from PIE in the areas of self efficacy such as excellent writing, research paper development, communications also basics of integrated foreign policy from a US and EU perspective, integrated and participatory global development for European based and US based institutes perspective, economic prosperity in the healthcare and non-healthcare environment

 

The MIP has a particular focus on working and studying in areas linked to Managed Migration, Systems of Migration, Governance and Task Force Services in the context of Crisis and Emergency situations

 

Study pathways are linked to BA and Masters Public Health in Collaboration with Ohio University Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Pecs Faculty of Medicine , University of Pecs Faculty of Humanities and Faculty of Law, University of Krems, Middlesex University


Description of the BA program UP:

Educates students who want to learn about political systems, international relations, political institutions, history and various fields. The goal of the program in International Relations is to train highly qualified experts with broad education in the social sciences who can interpret Hungary’s place and role in international and Europe; and know the theoretical and practical context of international relations. Graduated students will gain a practical knowledge related to the system of international organizations and relations, local governmental systems and local politics, how states and political organizations function, the world of NGOs and political parties, the types of electoral systems and forms of governments, the concept of political socialization, political culture, political communication and how the European Union works.

Description of the program:

The goal of the MA degree program in International Relations is to trained highly qualified experts with broad education in the social sciences who can interpret Hungary's place and role in the international situation and in Europe; and know the theoretical and practical context of international relations. The graduates of the program have a high level of proficiency in language and negotiation techniques. Their historical, sociological and professional education enables them to think in terms of analysis and synthesis. The knowledge of their subject matter enables them to understand and predict the economic, legal and political processes of the international system. They are able to put the perspectives of the East-Central European region into context amongst the many challenges of international relations. The graduates know and understand the developmental tendencies of the regions outside Europe and have thorough disciplinary knowledge in the areas of civilization, world economy, international law, political science as well as practical skills in diplomacy, protocol and negotiation techniques. Equipped with these pieces of knowledge and skills they are properly qualified for pursuing their studies in a doctoral degree program.

 

Entry requirements

  • BA Degree in International Relations

For lack of the above degree, other degrees can also be accepted if they include the following disciplines: social science (sociology, philosophy, anthropology), law, economy, political science, history, culture and linguistics - please attach a transcript for the courses you have completed (title, credits)

a) The graduates of the MA degree program have a thorough knowledge of:

the theories of international relations,

global economic processes and their theoretical interpretation,

the historical, legal and political aspects of international relations,

the policy of the European Union and its institutional and economic system,

the history and present status of Hungarian foreign policy,

the theories that address the relationship between the international system and civilizations,

regional and civilization studies.

  • problem-solving techniques sued in international analyses,
  • professional and ethical norms.

b) The graduates of the MA degree program are qualified for:

carrying out independent work in the special fields of international studies,

understanding, predicting and shaping international and European processes of integration,

preparing and making decisions in the special fields of international economy, politics and law,

participating in professional and scientific discussions,

applying integrated knowledge in a wide range of fields in the area of social sciences and foreign policy analysis,building international relations,conducting negotiations in their special area in a foreign language,performing various tasks as diplomats, international experts, researchers, journalists and employees of state administration and multinational companies.

c) Personal abilities and skills required for the practice of the qualification:

  • ability to see the essence of issues and creativity,
  • ability to form and independent professional opinion,
  • problem-centered approach and ability to solve problems,
  • responsible behavior regarding the treatment of knowledge and information when performing international analyses.
