How can one become a member?

HLMDI is a supporter of systemic decentralization in healthcare, emphasizing on a higher role of the communities, NGOs and businesses instead of the governments when management and promotion of health is a concern.

Motto:” The most valuable asset of any economy is embedded in the human asset

The first and foremost important criteria is the participation in the basic course offered under ‘Certificate of Healthcare Management’ at the university of Pecs at least twice a year . The ‘ Nominating Committee’  and the  ‘Membership Committee’ and the finally the ‘Executive Committee’  reserve the right to accept or reject the newer requests for membership. The area of specialization, position as far as representation of a major community, the quality of the prepared project during the course , records in the areas of management and leadership, finally career-wide efforts in line with  “paradigm shift in healthcare”   are considered when the evaluation of a request is considered by the mentioned committees.

Is this course exclusively offered to Medical Doctors and Medical post graduates?

No, anyone enjoying the above certificate is considered  as  a potential member

How can I apply for this course?

Always refer to the relevant website under the faculty of business and economics  www.ktk.pte.hu

I am a current holder of the mentioned certificate and I’d want to join the HLMDI, how may I proceed ?

Please refer to the ‘Membership Committee’ with your request form, motivation letter for participation and C.V. The membership committee will in turn consult the ‘Executive Committee’ and the ‘Nominating Committee’ before providing you with an answer.

Is membership merely extended to companies and/or registered legal entities ?

Ask yourself “ Have I initiated a major change in my own life, at my community? How can I measure and report this effort?” Both companies and individuals can become members, but it is important to know that HLMDI values individuals above entities. Therefore, individuals with proven record in community evolution initiation or aid are the best representatives. HLMDI stands for reform in healthcare which relies on measurable goal setting in line with individual and community development. Decentralization is a main focus here. The basic understanding is that only the ‘responsible’ and ‘transparent’ healthcare economies will prosper which rely on knowledge, evidence and continuous learning and development.

How may I access HLMDI publications?

The free versions are accessible by anyone but for the exclusive versions you will need a password.

May I participate in HLMDI courses and modules even if I am not a member?

Yes, the only difference is that the fee for members and non-members is different.

How may ‘I’ or my ‘organization’ become an HLMDI partner?
